Hi MoR,

Yes, I love this heat. My colleagues at work complain (as do most people) but this is far better than the rain and cold.

I was told, many years ago, that a flask of hot tea was the ideal thing to take when out on safari in Africa (although I've never been to try it out). It was said to be better than a cold drink!

Hi MoR,

Probably not that different - the beer was not really ice-cold!

I only have a few moments now but will look at your reply later today or tomorrow.

I have heard the same (about the tea). I suppose we (the people from the UK) are strange in that way. There are things we like and we stick to them no matter what happens or where we are. It has its advantages and disadvantages, of course.

Brunch in the Navigli calls .........

>I hope to be writing more here – and about other things aside from Dino!
Well (still being out of context I am afraid), I have finally replied to your long comment on UK and Europe.

PS
You write: "I came here to find the passion - and here, it’s all around me - but still it doesn’t really touch me!". Wonder if you finding the Roman passion instead of the Milanese one would have made any difference lol.
You UK guys are really incredible (in a nice way) and probably will never change. I read that, during the times of the Raj, the English officers, even when walking in the jungle, they stopped at 5 o’clock and had hot tea prepared for them, right there, in the jungle, with 45 degrees of heat! Amazing. Really.
