Yes, I love this heat. My colleagues at work complain (as do most people) but this is far better than the rain and cold.

I was told, many years ago, that a flask of hot tea was the ideal thing to take when out on safari in Africa (although I’ve never been to try it out). It was said to be better than a cold drink!

I have heard the same (about the tea). I suppose we (the people from the UK) are strange in that way. There are things we like and we stick to them no matter what happens or where we are. It has its advantages and disadvantages, of course.

You UK guys are really incredible (in a nice way) and probably will never change. I read that, during the times of the Raj, the English officers, even when walking in the jungle, they stopped at 5 o’clock and had hot tea prepared for them, right there, in the jungle, with 45 degrees of heat! Amazing. Really.
