Yes, they are complex and delicate. And it isn’t even 2 years since the fateful period (well, not quite), so I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on myself. Maybe he is. Of course, I would never know – and that’s just as annoying too. After all, as I’ve written before now, isn’t he supposed to be ‘suffering’ more than I am?
