Thanks Pietro but I’m not sure I can be of any real help. Anyway, I know that I don’t know everything. A lot of this is what I have gleaned from the things she says. Maybe I’ve got it all wrong after all?

Hi again – I hear ya. I guess the good thing is that the receiver of your kind attention has no idea it is less than saintly for you, she only knows your kindness.

Sorry, Gail, you misinterpreted. Well, maybe a little.
I agree with you about kindness. I’m just not sure that’s what it is from me. It feels more like sufferance than kindness. That’s what I meant.
I agree on the kindness bit – in that I think it’s important and I try to be kind to everyone. In this case I certainly don’t feel so saintly

Hi Andy – some times, ‘being there for some one in need, regardless of how close one is to that person in need, is one of the greatest random acts of kindness.
