You would, of course, be most welcome but for you Americans, the size of Italian homes may come as a bit of an unpleasant surprise!
Anyway, as you would expect, the idea of gathering for a great meal at a great restaurant sounds absolutely perfect to me!

And I love your adventures because they always include food and wine. SO when I finally get to Milan, I can stay on your couch? Stop holding your breath – relax, were I/we to come to Italy I/we would stay in a nice hotel – even when we visit family we always get a hotel – always. I really don’t like sharing a bathroom with anyone but Skipp. and here we have two, mine and his. SO even only having one bathroom in a hotel I find quite annoying. And remember, I, like you, prefer quiet in the morning -Skipp usually goes out to get us some breakfast food so I can have my space…..that would be hard to do if we stayed at your place. So see? We would be the perfect tourists – only gathering for a great meal at a great restaurant and then saying ‘goodnight’ and going our separate ways. Phew.
