I don’t think there was any racial element to this and, yes, the famous case in the UK was Tony Martin (white guy) who shot some burglars (another white guy) as they were escaping. When I checked it out, actually one of the guys dies from his injuries – and all this time I thought he only injured one. Anyway, he got ‘life’ for the killing of the one. Tony Martin

Killing or seriously maiming someone, in my view, is not the use of reasonable force and cannot be justified – else why bother having the law at all, even if it doesn’t always serve us well!

Have UK soldiers randomly shooting Irish people around the 8 counties after an IRA attack been treated to similar sentences? What about the Birmingham cops? I’m looking for white Brits jailed after being caught avenging. Any examples?
