I didn’t compare to the USA because I don’t have any first-hand knowledge. However, it’s not that they are Christian (even if, in the case you quote, it makes them doubly despicable, especially at this time of year) but that people who have ‘power’ use it like this to satisfy the baying mob mentality that seems to be getting louder. It would be wrong at any time, whatever the religious base or lack thereof.

Especially as I feel an immigrant on a daily basis, even if I have every right to be here! You’re right. this has nothing to do with religion and all to do with how evil/stupid/ignorant people can be.

I look forward to Spirituality part II :-). I always feel I am over critical when it comes to this – after all, this is not my country and that’s why I mentioned that the people in the UK should not be so outraged – the same thoughts are there, in their own country!

Because I saw a tv show (L’infedele, la 7) about the White Christmas you mentioned and I was shocked. This has NOTHING do to with religion and the LEGA people are just a bunch of ignorant.
