I agree. It’s quite terrible. That someone should do that in the first place is bad enough but that someone from, supposedly, a civilised nation should then part with money for it quite disgusts me.

What next?

I must admit, when I read the headline (from the front page) I assumed it was somebody trying to smuggle in a rare beetle and they had, somehow, tried to disguise it as a brooch.

But, when I read the actual story an the fact that this is not so rare in Mexico, I, too, was shocked. I had never heard of this before.
