But we never like to be told the result of the test if it were not the result we want. Men are certainly worse than women in this regard and I am one of the worst men for this.

No sex when stressed. Stress can come from work or other things and in this case, the test has been looming large for some weeks. I should have realised, really, but I didn’t know that he intended to take the test this week. the result is Friday – but that’s when he goes to his parents so I won’t even see him until the following Sunday or Monday. Not ideal. :-(

Yes, I do understand but I think he’s being ‘over scared’ if you see what I mean. I imagine you’ve had a lot of scary tests and so maybe you should know better than most. But, of course, we are scared of the unknown – which is what tests are all about, after all.

And yes, if we all exceeded each others’ expectations it would be a truly wonderful world :-)
