Pietro, I was making the point that one doesn’t always tell the exact truth when in interviews (there’s a thing going on in the UK at the moment where politicians who will be standing down (i.e. resigning) at the election later this year have been caught out trying to ‘sell themselves’ to new employers by suggesting that they may be able to ‘help’ the new company by introducing them to powerful people in government). They have been, they say, when caught out, embellishing their abilities – just like I MIGHT say that my Italian was good – whereas, as you know, it isn’t at all
