Thanks. I value your opinion. And, you could be right but I’m just not quite ready yet. Part of the reason is, of course, because I feel this ‘unreal’ and ‘temporary’ thing and so, don’t want to rock the boat, as we say.

in my humble opinion you hold back because you do feel the commitment but at the same time you don’t want to break a sort of rule you’ve made up. Namely, not wanting to say what you feel.
Perhaps F. is not happy with it. Maybe he would prefer someone who is not so silent in real life. If you are not 100% happy, let him know. I know it’s difficult but it is worth it sometimes.
I have learned to say to G. what I like and what I don’t like, my fears and my emotions. It has taken me a long time but our relationship is stronger also because of this aspect.
Perhaps this is just our case though…
