It’s 1 a.m. and I’m making a call to someone I’ve never met. The conversation goes something like this:
Me: ‘Hi, do you speak English?’
Be nice to people until you know they are bastards.

Hospitals, prisons, police and…… garages!
I am walking in to the hospital. Of course, these days, often, they almost seem like hotels. The wide open spaces, the reception desk to ‘check in’. If it wasn’t for all the sick and needy people, the nurses and doctors, you could, often, be entering a four-star hotel.
They think it’s all over – It is now!
Football. Manchester United versus Milan. Last night, all the bars that had coverage via satellite were doing a roaring trade. I found it difficult to find a place to park – and we’re the opposite side of Milan! It seems that, to really enjoy the evening, people had travelled from outside Milan into the centre to go and watch the spectacle at a bar!
