It didn’t quite go as planned on Sunday after all. We DID go for a walk up Corso Buenos Aires on Sunday afternoon as many of the shops were open. We DID take Rufus, who got lots of admiring looks and lots of ‘che bello’s’ and who was perfectly behaved, as usual. V got some presents for the birthday of a girl at work because he always seems to be the one responsible for taking the collection money and finding the presents.

Writing on Saturday and posting on Sunday
I just looked at the blog and the temperature here is 24 degrees. It’s wonderful. There is a slight breeze, unusually for Milan, which makes it very, very pleasant.
A Far-Off Country – Part Two
I have come back from the far-off country and, let me tell you, it’s so good to be back home.
Far-Off Country; Italian/English differences; PdS/Carta d’Identità
Tomorrow I go to a far-off country and continuing the theme of random pictures from Google images, here is one from typing in the title.

You might find some like minded people, but mostly you don’t – or maybe I’m looking in the wrong places – or maybe there aren’t any people who think like me (which wouldn’t really surprise me).
Wandering Scribe
Caught this on the BBC news site. Wandering Scribe. It’s from a lady who has been living in a car for 8 months or so. She’s jobless, homeless, partner-less, etc. But not your average homeless person. Not living in doorways or parks or anything like that. Got to admire her. She deserves better, but I guess she’s not the only one. I’ve always thought “there, but for the grace of God, go I”. Riots and Wind!
Well, it’s all happening here! Today is Sunday. We are having some beautiful weather right now. It’s like spring, which is fantastic.
However, yesterday, when Rufus and I were coming back from the park in the morning, there were tons of Police with riot gear Continue reading
Sorry……
It’s been a little while since I last wrote anything. So what’s been happening? Well, the first thing is that I am back at work – which is one of the reasons I haven’t been writing. I’ve been busy.
